Im finaly converting to a xbox

I would never sell mine, I waited too long in line to even think of selling my Wii. I was at my walmart at 3:30pm, and wait in line til 12am. But I love my Wii and the games I have on it.

Gears of War is really fun, i don't play it online cause i suck at it. I still play Halo2. Can't wait for Halo 3.

my friend was tellin me the buttons and all i manage to kill 2 people before i died but it just funny and slightly annoyin how your teammates will abandon you if you're on the floor
you know the half dead state

If they try and help you they usually end up dying.

Yeah, Gears is quite hard to master, but once you get blind shooting with a shotty or boom down, you're pwnage.

GoW is actually has quite a few things that seperate it from the FPS games, not just the TPS perspective.

i think gears would be 10x better if it had like a 20 player or 16 player cap instead of 8, of course the servers couldnt run it, but it would be SO much more fun :D

its a fun game, no doubt. But it's nothing compared to Halo 2. Seriously.

The matchmaking system is horribly built. I can't seem to find any matches with people at my level, unlike Halo 2 where every match is USUALLY a pretty fair match. This means I have very little chance to improve.

And no respawn game? Except for annex, but thats like king of the hill. I want some respawn, killing oriented game type. I hate that i suck at it, cause I play, i die and i have to sit out. Seriously, its a very steep learning curve, and the fun factor isn't as high.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great game. But I'd still choose Halo 2 over it, anyday.

Haven't played Halo 3.

People say Halo 2 is overrated. I would disagree. I'm not even a fanboy blinded by hype either. I've just never played a better game. Keep in mind i judge by replay value. I dont consider single player games great simply because I will beat them and probably never play them again. I live for multiplayer, and Halo 2 has the best multiplayer experience I've ever experienced. Hands down.

GoW is a great game, it has its unique qualities. It is also true for Halo 2. I kinda like Halo 2 better because lots more methods of play than GoW.
