I found this on another forum I goto, and wanted to post this here.

so there I was, what to do on this night, the eve of halo

obviously pack up my friends in my buddies van and go harass the pimply faced kids waiting in line for the game

now before you say anything, we're a smaller city, and be that as it may, 120 people still are poking around the parking lot, hoping to get halo 3, I'm no expert at supplying products and such, but I doubt 80 of those people will be smiling tomorrow morning


so i was screaming out the ending, not that I know what happens, but I made stuff up as I went along, from me opening my mouth, to the point water bottles pelted the van, was under 5 seconds, than we were chased by no less than 10 people, who threw more items at us (the markings on the van suggest one was an item from taco bell)

I suppose i didn't quell their blood lust by laughing at how they lost their spot in "line" it was more of a huddle but still.

eitehr way, if this is the indication of the online community that will be playing halo, i don't think I care to converse with such angry angry people

lmao, you are NEVER going to find a rent, anywhere, unless you live in some small rural area. friends of mine camped out at their local blockbuster for like 16+ hrs to get their copy, and half of them didn't even get it. thats why i love gamefly, almost everyone is too lazy to add it to their queue, so i just clear my queue the day before it comes out and it comes straight to me, and ive been doing this for like 5 games ive wanted to get right when the first came out now. halo3 should be in my mailbox after school tommorow :D

well I guess it is a good thing I live in a town with only 900 people then.

oh yeah and plus the walmart in my area, never sells out of games. I could go there right now and buy Halo3 if I wanted, but I wanted to rent it and see if it is better then Halo 2. I loved Halo 1 but hated Halo 2, I did not like having to play as the aliens in the mission parts of the Single player story mode.

since i just moved it just feel boring cos it feel so small like
not alot fo places to go to in a feel
it all requires like a car drive out of places which are like 1hr away by car to get somewhere fun which is decent like Bournemouth Beach XD

Its a great game. Still undecided if better than Halo 2.

Halo 2 is by far, way better than Halo CE. Multiplayer wise at least.

i just beat this game, solo on heroic and coop legendary. it is reallly short, but fscking AWSOME. get it!

now im trying to play the themes from halo 3 (the piano one in the trailer). ive gotten it down, now im trying the advanced halo 1 theme song. its nuts

i beat heroic single player in about 5 hours, and i beat co-op legendary in about 8 hrs. it was really fun, but as i said above there are only about 8 missons, so it's not that hard to beat. the only really hard part about it was the part when you have to rescue cortana from the flood level, because it gets extremely confusing to navigate yourself and there are also a crapload of flood running around. it was fun though, going to be playing live from now on :D

So much. So so so much.

Too much to say but some of the best stuff...

- Saved films. Records every second of every match(which you save is up to you) and you can replay them. Not just a video, you can pause, zoom, fast forwards, and best of all you can move to ANY angle. Meaning you can pause the game and explore evry inch of every map, you can watch the match from behind ANY player. You can watch from overhead. Ever wondered how you died or how theys tole your flag? You'll figure it out now.

-Forge. Ah so awesome. Just read elsewhere. too lazy to type.

-New weapons: Brute spiker, brute pistol, spartan laser, needler(WAY more powerful, actually a good gun now), assault rifle, turrets can be picked up, and so many more.

-New cars. Mongoose, hornet, elephant, and more.

-More grenade types.

-Equipment! bubble shield, regenerator, power drainer, grav lift, flare, one way sheild.

-4 player co op.

-Skulls(and you can activate them before any campaign match).

-New gametypes. And not to mention how creating your own is very very in depth. You can change like every single detail. And with forge you can modify maps to match perfectly with them.

yea, i love messing ghosts up online when i pick up the turret, especially the rocket one. i've even gotten a ghost down using a gravitron hammer. don't ask, but it was freaking awsome.

if you EVER get the chance, try playing level 8 (rescue cortana) on legendary. it is seriously impossible to do without 4 people. that level has SO many flood in it that right when you step in, you literally die. the farthest i've gotten is only 1 room away from cortana, and the only reason being i ran out of nades and mmy sword. but yea, that level is HORRIBLE on single player legendary.

It's a great game though. In terms of ranking it I'd say it's slightly better than Halo 2, slightly.
