Guitar Hero 3 online?

Ok we were all promised online, but yet every time on my 360 i go into a ranked match, it says found match, then says conection failed,
does anyone know how to play gh3 online properly? for xbox 360

I still want to get this game for the Wii, I mean it looks fun.

it is really fun, the only reason i wouldnt go with the wii, is cause you cant download extra songs

I have been only playing COD 4 on the 360, I let my friend borrow halo3 when I beat it, and never played again.
