A wonderful Fugue. The interlocking parts are ingenious.

The organ version sucks. Every other bar of that piece has repeated notes, that the organ version completely ignored.

So the organs were less repetitive?...in music I thought that was always better.....

Not repetitive. Repeated notes (as in, the note A eight times in a row) are ignored and only played once and held for the duration of eight notes as if it were a long chord note

Thats cause its transition from piano to organ >_> unless plucking were called into play, making a stings version would most likely do the same.

Actually not, you can repeatedly press the same key on an organ, and its ESPECIALLY done on string instruments

I've played quite a few instruments (though none for too long lolz), and while Im not trying to act high and mighty, all I'm saying is on anything I've heard transposed or w/e the word may be from piano, its usually whole notes and such. Meh

No, but one could argue "there could be one" I wouldn't go so far as to say the organ was possibly the original as I doubt you would ever send me a reproduction.

lulz, I still find the organ to have a much darker underlying theme/tense than other versions, thats why I tore up Imeem looking for it (:])
