Soul Calibur III

Well incase nobody knew Namco has announced the release of their successful series known as soul calibur. The release date of the game is October 11 which is always subject to change. So far Namco has announced also that it's going to be a PS2 exclusive with no online options and no guest character. In this game instead they give you the option to create your own character, fighting style, and name. Also in the game there will be 26 character in which 3 are new and plenty of returning characters from older series (soul blade, soul calibur I, soul calibur II). Just some of the character that have been announced are the following:

Seigfreid(nightmare's older form before he gained soul edge)
Talim
Taki
Zasalamel ( a new character that uses a scythe)
Tira ( a new charcter that uses ringed blades)
Setsuak (a new chacter that uses daggers)
Heishiro Mitsurugi
Isabella Valentine (Ivy)
Cassandra
Voldo
Astaroth
and the new Villian in the game Raphael Sorel who is now a vampire that is consumped by Soul edge.

-Huang will be selectable!(Best character ever, from Soul Blade)

And NO, it is not 2d, this series is the best 3d fighting game out there(of its genre)

The rumor's have been proven that it's fake. The creator's said it already that NO GUEST characters are going to be in it meaning Dante is not going to be in there, Link is cut, Spawn is cut, Hihatchi is cut.

Not only that but:

-Walls and floors can now be broken.

-Huang will be selectable!(Best character ever, from Soul Blade)

And NO, it is not 2d, this series is the best 3d fighting game out there(of its genre)
It has not been proven either that Huang is going to be in there plus at the end of Soul Blade he dies so I doubt he is going to be returning if he's dead

WTF? With an interview with teh creator he said Huang was going to be in there! So hah!

And also he did not die, in both of his endings he either:

-Returned and killed the guard, he was overtaken by the Sould Blade, and turned evil.
OR
-He threw the soul blade out into sea and went out to war fighting the right and just way to save his country.

Moreover, Yungsung in Soul Caliber II says he is training to fight Huang once he gets back.

Well, since create a character is now here - I'll just create one and kill that I once was. I bet Sega will find a way to make Virtua Fighter better or give this game a run for its money.

Bah, the new soulcalibur is gonna be cool, thats it. No 2d thing about it, at least you can sidestep from attacks. The three characters are a nice addition, with many new costumes for the characters. No, hellspire, Dante could not be on SoulCalibur since he was developed by Capcom, which Namco must make an agreement with Capcom to bring Dante to SoulCalibur.

In the mode you basically get to walk through the game as your character. With many cut scene, events, and decisions the ending is different on every outcome you choose. Also with each character there is a different ending. *Spoiler*





For Siegfried his destined outcome is to finally lay rest to Nightmare and destory once and for all soul edge. Although this has not been officially leaked anyone who has played Soul Blade, Soul Calibur I or even II knows the story behind Seigfried and Nightmare. Plus the destined one in the game is Siegfried meaning he is the man that will "offically" have the true ending of the game.
