This is just the beginning of the Riftwarp Dragonriders.
In this story the Riftwarp Dragonriders will be called the Talmor Dragonriders. For privacy's sake I have asked each Dragonrider to select a rider name that I will use in this story instead of their username.
So you know who's who I will let you know in the Dragonriders HQ by displaying the username, their rider name, their dragon's name, the dragon's color, and whether the dragon is a boy or a girl when everyone has told me their rider names and their dragon names.

CAUTION: Some of the story may change due to editing at times.

CHAPTER 1- The Awakening

The Dragon's world of Talmor was once a peacefu lplace and the Dragons lived in harmony with the other creatures.

There is one day that the oldest Dragon, Sharrie, shall never forget. Or any Talmor Dragon for that matter that was alive on that day, young and old alike. Even the Queens and their Bronze mates with their eggs felt the waves of fear and evil radiating from Mount Namor from their place two valleys away from the peak of an extinguished volcano.

Rose Sharrie, the Dragon of History, was the oldest of the Talmor Dragons. She felt the waves of fear, forbiddenness, and a growing sense of evil from garden, in the prosess of tending her flowers.

"Great Goddess Dracona! Slathor has awakened!" Ruby eyes that were slowly going blind turned in the direction of the Evil Lord's lair. A black cloud was starting to gather over the recently vacent, now occupied, stone castle. Every now and then, a Red Dragon could be seen flying to Slathor's fortress. The Red Dragons were the only breed of Dragon that Slathor had managed to capture and bend to his will in the last war. Each Red Dragon wears a magiked collar that hurt them when they disobey his command, go against his will, or do anything that Slathor tells them not to do. They serve him until they die.

The only long-lived part human Dragonrider from the last war with Slathor heard her. She looked human, but she was far from human. She was part human, part cat, part scorceress, and part bird. She looked like a human girl with a black cat's tail, black cat ears, amber cat eyes, and white wings. She was more than her 21 years, in fact, she was the oldest Dragonrider that still lived with the Dragons. The other Dragonriders went off to live seperate lives. She and her Dragon partner Twilight, lived with Sharrie and helped her around the house.

Amy abandoned her perch on the roof wher it was her chore to remove the vines that tried to grow over the house every year. She spread her wings and glided down to the elder dragon's side.

"What's wrong, Grandmother?" Amy asked. In response, Sharrie rasied a paw and pointed a claw to the awakening castle. Amy jerked back. "Great merciful Goddess! The Evil Lord has risen! So he is to blame for my magic going on edge since this morning."

"You and Twilight must go tell the Chieftain. Tell him that the Evil Lord Slathor has awakened and it is time once again to call fourth the Dragonriders." Sharrie looked at the only half human in Talmor. "Did you say that your magic has been on edge since sunrise?

The Rider raised a had and produced a globe of her magic. The magic didn't have it's usual smoothe edges, the edges were jagged. "See Grandmother. And now I know the reason why my magic's on edge, it was warning me about Slathor. Next time I know what I need to do when my magic goes on edge."

"And what's that child?" Sharrie asked, smiling.

"Investigate it." She replied as she jumped the white picket fence."Twilight!" She called up to her Dragon friend.

"What?" the dragon paused in her aerial play and looked down at her partner.

"Quit playing wit the little piggies and come on! We've got work to do!"

The black dragon glided down and landed neatly on all fours with a backsweep of her wings to stop her descent. Two of the lavender-winged pigs followed her down. The creatures were common flying playmates for young dragons. Even though Twilight wasn't young, this year would be her 400th year, the cute flying pigs still liked to play with her and Amy.

The younger of the brother/sister pair folded her wings and dropped into Amy's arms. It was Yimmy, the younger sister.

"Big fight come soon! Might never play with Twilight Dragon and Amy Dragonrider again!" She wailed into Amy's chest.

"Yimmy! what's with the water works?" She hugged the young winged pig close to her and petted the lavender velvet wings. She noticed the commontion that the rest of the flying pigs were making over Slathor's dominion. "Oh. So that's it, huh? The upcomming war with Slathor?" She cradled the pig in her arms and rocked her as if she were a baby. " Now stop those tears Yimmy. Hush little baby don't you cry, the Dragonriders are gonna kick Slathor's butt." amy crooned with a small smile on her face. Twilight put a paw over her black muzzle and sniggered at Amy's new version of the childhood lullaby.

"No matter how big the peril, the Dragonriders will work together to pull through." Sharrie said as she walked up to them. Her rose scales glittered in the sunlight. "You two need to get moving. As soon as he has gathered all of his Red Dragons, he'll attack." She looked up at Yimmy's older brother, Yule and at te rest of the flying pigs who were hovering a few feet above their heads. "You two need to get flying. And as the Dragon of History, I think I'm entitled to spin you kids a few tales. Come alongg children and I'll tell you some tales from the last war with Slathor along with a plate of my best treats." Sharrie led the lavender-winged creatures inside into her Storyroom, the place where she told her stories. Yimmy touched her nose to Amy's cheek and flew off to catch up to her brother. Amy and Twilight flew off to tell Onyxthor the news.

CHAPTER 2- The Riders

Since Amy and Twilight were the only ones who knew where each of the Dragonriders housed themselves, they were sent to collect them.

Chapter 2 cannot be continued without your help! I need your rider names and dragon names before I can continue. If you want, you can tell me where you want me to place you in Talmor.
