From my understanding the Saw game is supposed to basically be ALL achievements. Literally you get an achievement for DYING worth 20g. You could also just go to your local Game Stop or Disk Replay (or whatever is nearby, I don't know) with $50, go to the UNDER $9.99 bin and just get like 5 random games, beat the single player on the hardest difficulty, bring 'em back in less than a week and get full store credit. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. I don't know about Disk Replay but that works at Game Stop. Or maybe it doesn't I don't know, I haven't tried it but they always say "If you don't like it, bring it back in a week and we'll give you your money back"

Well even though the thread was necro-bumped, I'll contribute.

Assassin's Creed and Dynasty Warriors Gundam. You'll get some easy points from those for sure.

Yea i gave up on my achievement quest, I had way to much time during Christmas break and did like 3000 in a month on my legit account. Assassins creed 1 and 2 have a crazy amount of easy points like you get 800 for just playing through. I have yet to touch saw its on my list, soul prophet said it was okay, and dynasty warriors i wont touch lol

I loved Assassin's Creed, I'm currently finishing Assassin's Creed 2 though I'm not quite done with it yet because I've been playing League of Legends (a spin-off of DotA) with my friends a lot. My wishlist for upcoming games right now would be Final Fantasy XIII, Pokemon Soul Silver, and Blazblue: Continuum Shift. I kinda want to pick up Forza right now, but my friends and I are gonna have a race on who can get all the gamerscore on FF13 first.

I've facepalmed far too many times for the stupid deaths I get.

I'm not trying to be a douche. I never understood why anyone would want to boost his or her gamerscore with easy achievements. When one gets easy achievements with high score, it ruins the actual meaning of gamerscore for those of us that actually try to get the hard achievements.

That's all I have to say.

Yes, there are the achievements that are uber hard and most players on xbox wont get, and thats what will set you apart from the casual players.

But...

at the same time its for status reasons, back when we had the ps2 and the original xbox, no one cared about gamer score. Because all that mattered was the games. I see the gamerscore being a game in its self, its just for fun. Chicks are starting to get into it as well, Its just a social thing like twitter. Who gives a crap if I got 12k and some dude has 100k, all that means is hes played games and so have I. The score in its self is meaningless but its still fun.

Honestly, it made me play alot of games out of my comfort zone(that were actualy harder than i though, and consumed way to much of my time). But I would of never found that I liked lego batman, and wanted was a good game, just way to short, and I did play through avatar:TLC, and it was fair. Some of them were crap, but most of them were on the right track, they just weren't up to par with a 9.0 game, but they still need love too.

I've been kicked from games because i get low scores (usually due to teammates who don't play the game a lot) in dow. That didn't bother me much though because i prefered playing team games as opposed to 1v1 matches.
Scores might matter to people who want to get into the higher end of gameplay online.

Wouldn't quality and percentage of completion be a better standard for comparison, cause I mean getting 80% of possible achievement points and getting difficult ones sounds a lot more 1337 than just renting a bunch crappy games or just playing a lot of them and only getting easy achievements
