I love the fact that Nintendo tries to reach out to different audiences with their variation of mind games and childlike characters with ginormous melon heads on tiny bodies (Very creepy) But that's not what kept me interested in the console or the company ma friends,NO! SIRREE! It was all about the classic Mario titles( Obviously including SuperMario Bros, Mario Cart, Mario world and Super Smash Bros Melee) Zelda and one of the big players out there the Pokemon titles...Those were the baddest of the bad for me.

I personally love em for Metroid (console and GBA) and the GBA Fire Emblem games. If you haven't played Metroid and Fire Emblem on the GBA, I don't consider you a gamer (lol)

fire enblem on the gba (sacred stones if i remember right with the blue haired twins) was good ^^ i love the older games like Dr Mario (please be in peace) that you don't see anywhere anymore but is fun to play on the big gray console along side with mario bross, mario 2, mario 3 (with the flying racoon tail) .... exept the 2nd zelda ever: the adventure of Link , where the hell are you supose to go ??? i never figured it out.
My sister loved the Island II on that console ^^ it's fun but only played with one player -.-

if you haven't played and beat majora's mask i dont consider you a gamer (with full completion).
i really like mario games especially 64, and galaxy (1/2). makes one not feel too old.
but perhaps the biggest thing in the 21st century thus far--i think--is halo. sure it was overplayed and such but it pretty much defined FPS for an entire decade. especially in terms of realigning or rather reaffirming consumer/gamer (difference) expectations.

i disagree with everything except mario 64. mario 64 and ocarina of time are the games that 'blazed the path into 3D', majora's mask uses the same engine ocarina of time did. and not only that but they're both considered to be some of the greatest games ever made.
and goldeneye 007 shaped the fps scene the most imo

True, I remember playing Orcana of time and Goldeneye frequently(Not even bags, but luggage under my eyes for real) those games from back to front kept me informed....(Anyone remember the SNES title featuring fox and his mates in a star wars typed game...Loved that game with a passion.
