My motherboard was fried, and am looking for a new one. Any one know a good AMD motherboard I should get?
I am looking for a am3 socket motherboard, that still uses DDR2 ram. I have 3GB DDR2, and would still like to be able to use them.

ddr2 is expensive now.
DDR3 is the way foward. Its dirt cheap and provides overall better peformance.
What processor you got. That would help pick motherboard better, dont know how these things work any more, it's been all too long.

I am looking at getting an AMD Athlon II X4

ASUS motherboards are good, solid boards, even if you aren't gaming. My husband builds his computers with them.
