umm wow :/ think they get payed enough already?
DETROIT — Federal officials in Detroit say doctors, nurses and other medical professionals are among 18 people who are charged with schemes to steal $28 million from the Medicare program.
The government says authorities arrested 15 defendants Thursday. It says one was arrested in July and two remain at large.
The announcement from the departments of Justice, and Health and Human Services says the suspects were involved in several schemes involving home health care and psychotherapy billings.
It says the charges involve "fraudulent claims submitted to Medicare for services that were medically unnecessary ... or never provided."
The announcement says that a federal strike force in Detroit has led to charges against 138 people for $148 million in Medicare fraud

A large group of physicians and pharmacists were indicted today in U.S. district court of Michigan for healthcare fraud by billing Medicare, Medicaid and private insurers for illegally prescribed drugs. Four physicians, 1 psychologist and 12 pharmacists used 26 pharmacies across Michigan to bill Medicare for Xanax, Vicodin and Oxycodone to the tune of at least $37.7 million

the news reported on it but the actual articles online for it are about zilch. i can only guess noone thinks its nto important or its being suppressed or something :/
