What does the Magic Jammer do with your combo? If you wanna protect insect barrier, Judgement of Anubis would be better. But then again, there are a bunch of trap and Monster cards that could destroy your barrier, so it's no guarentee.

instead of magic jammer i would use magic drain

Magic Drain is good because it doesn't have a cost, but Magic Jammer is better because it guarentees that the magic card will fail. Plus I'd just discard a powerful monster then play Call of the Haunted, or something.

There are hundrets of magic and traps that can destroy this combo. Dust Tornado, Harpies Faither duster(If not playing with bann list), MST and many others so this cannot guarantie than you will be safe with that combo.
