What do you guys think of Rise of Destiny?

Hello everyone, what do you guys think of the new set "Rise of Destiny"? I saw a couple cards that I liked. I like "The Creator", the monster that goes along with him, the new Mystic Swordsman Lv. 6, and some others that I can't really name off the top of my head right now.

The Creator has a lot of combos that go good with him. Cards like Cost Down work well with him. Since Monster Reborn is gone, this card can take up for it, plus he has some pretty good power that can hit hard and defend very well. I mean 3000 DEF, thats pretty good until somebody Smashing Grounds you. :P

Mystic Swordsman Lv. 6 can get your opponent in a lock similar to Yata was. You just have to get him out. He's a Warrior and can easily get teched into a Warrior Control deck if used right. Of course you'd have to put in the other levels, but still.

There is 2 Trap Cards that cought my eye. They are Divine Wrath and Covering Fire. Both are great Trap Cards and if used right can be very good.

Yea, there is more I liked, I'll see what you guys say and bring up more later.

but with rod harpie decks will get a majour boost

Yea, I saw a lot of Harpie cards when I was opening my packs the other day. They do get a good boost but nothing major. What cards do you think will get banned from ROD?

The Creator of course.
for some reason i think they should ban Mirage Dragon cuz i just dont like it

The Creator probably won't, it wasn't in Japan, and neither was any other ROD card.

With the Creator, they should at least restrict it to 1 per deck. Having 3 of those on the field would be rediculous...

With two tributes each, and not being able to be summoned from the graveyard, I'd say that's pretty unlikely.

Hero Emerges, use Premature Burial or Call of the Haunted to special summon monsters for sacrifice. It's actually not that hard. Plus, you could snatch steal one from your opponent, throw in a Bad Reaction to Simochi in there...

I went to the pre-release tourney for the set and found some of the cards to be quite useful

Heh, don't underestimate the Harpies...They're making a comeback ^_^

Yet, everyone who immediately made a Harpie Lady based deck, and had finished them, have found it annoying.
