Since 2004 is coming to an end, I have been woundering what the best video game of 2004 was. So tell us about your faveriot video game of 2004.

Mine was DOOM 3 (PC)!

Tough decision, 2004 wasn't really a good year for the video game scene in my opinion. I haven't actually played it since I don't own an X-Box (I'm waiting for the PC version), but I heard Knights of the Old Republic II was superior to its predecessor in every way and if that's the case... can't go wrong with KotOR II.

Halo 2 and Doom 3 come very close for me.

Half-Life 2 was good and all but DOOM 3 had better graphics and it was more exciting.

I would have to say Pokemon Fire Red, Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, and Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dawn of Destiny.

I liked Fable form the XBOX, but Doom 3 and Half Life 2 were also quite good. But I really think better games could have ben released this year.

I prefer the Thief trilogy over MGS. Oh yeah... Thief III: Deadly Shadows came out this year didn't it? I change my vote to Thief III! The Shalebridge Cradle is the creepiest experience I have ever had in a game.

anyway, I think that the best video game thing this year was the Nintendo DS, the whole system. The launch titles were weak, though.
