ahh well complicated question....bullying is bad and annoying -_- and shouldnt be excused and should be punished and i also dont belive that peaple are bullys cause one day they were bullied,one of the greatest excuses but i aint buying it

It may be wrong but throughout your life you will meet people who will try to intimidate you and make you feel bad.Whether you step over them or not will prove how strong you really are.You may be able to tell an adult a kid is bullying you in school,but when you're the adult and you're being bullied you have no one to turn to but your own inner strength.Either that or just jump the little wannabe-bully while they're in the john XD

its interesting in junior high these kids tried to bully me, and in a way they succeded in that respect, but after that my persona changed unto the point where I haven't been bothered by anyone for years, without raising a fist at all, I guess its because I'm smarter now (I was never beat up.... and I've fought once in my life--which I lost..--not that it matters (hehe))

Well when I was like in Yr 1 these annoying 4th Graders kept on teasing me.Back in those days 4th Graders were like atleast 4"9' Now days there like 4"2' xD.I don't get bullied too much, not exactly picked on and beat up, cause i'll react and our school is strict at times...Teast a bit in me early years but now days when your in Yr 6 no one cares much....But anyways back on topic.You really can't say bullying is bad?I mean it is wrong and bad..But who's to say what's right?Meh...Those who Bully are just a bunch of loser who have nothing else to do and are too pathetic to pick on those who will be a challenge.....

Yah hes got a point not like it damages you emotinnaly,it only will if yyou let i=) (I should know i was bullied up to one day too now peaple who go do terrible crap and say its cause they were bullied are a bunch of sad peaple one for letting it get to thme two for using bullying as an excuse to do what they did or will do i probly arnt making any sence but the point is the same however there is really nothing peaple can do to stop bullying,thats like saying they want to stop daylight from shining upon earth,as long as theres erragant peapl who think there better then other peaple bullying will exist =)(hah good thing i payed a year in advanced for my lunch money that way no one could steal it XD)

same thing i just said,for the love of god,it is not my fault that kid fell under pressure if he felt so sorry for himself that he had to kill himself and give up on the game of life theres nothing we can do,theres other ways to resolve bullying then suicide,doesnt matter what sort of bulling,his own fault hes dead not mine or the bullys. and yes that is my final answer!!

Interesting outlook on it,to say the least.People bully because they need the feeling of superiority.As for the suicide thing yes,it should never lead to killing yourself,that's an incredibly cowardly thing to do,but also it shouldnt have got to the point where he felt he had no option but to end his own life.When someone kills themselves over being bullied,obviously it's something more then just words and the occasional harrassing.But yes,as long as there are insecure people,there will be bullies.People really need to learn self-defense of some sort.

Interesting debate so far... As for commiting suicide, my brother was bullied. Kids, including kids his own age would take turns walking down the hallways smacking him upside the head. His picture, shown in the graduation slide show ever year was him sitting in front of his locker, crying. Everyone in the audience, basically the whole school, laughed.

Bullying is not just verbal, it's a way to humiliate and abuse someone to their breaking point and beyond.

I found it off some forum when someone posted it, suicide notes left by Japanese School Kids.They either couldn't: handle the pressure at school, couldn't stand being bullied their whole life anymore or just hated the way their life was.

Sara, that's pretty wrong.....Espically in graduation slide, why would they even put that in or even take a picture of him being bullied?Did the teachers even do anything?

Really, some school teachers don't even give a crap on what happens to the kids sometimes, they just care about doing their teaching and ending the day and getting friggen paid!Cause no one even tries to do anything about it to stop it.
As for my school....Your a goner if something like this were to happen, they're pretty strict on bullying and stuff.But usually it doesn't get too serious on bullying here.Mostly a bunch of few threats & insults which never happen.....

.....I know you didnt say it was my fault when i say it is not my fault i say it in a way stating it has no point to what im saying since i will continue saying the same thing,and about teachers yea they dont do a damn thing,but they have lifes too,bullys who beat you up are actually good they leave marks if your SMART you take pictures or record a session of a bully beating you up then take LEGAL!! action even shut the freaking school down! =) now bullys who make fun of you ehh i think if you cant take a few insults hah your doomed (i got beat up like almost everyday by 3 or 4 kids at recess in kindergarden so i should know about bullying =) )

I really don't know... I had a few teachers who really cared for me in high school, and one even game me advice about a restraining order for one of my bullies. The other one willingly let me use his computer to write to a person in the House of Representatives and the Senate, even though I didn't tell him why I needed his computer.

When I did, he thought it was the coolest thing in the world, and he asked me constantly for updates on it.

I see the flip-side to that, Auron. I was called a "skank" across the classroom of a science class for a whole semester, and other things were said like: "something really stinks in here" the teacher, who was a good friend of mine, turned his back to the bullying, as if it weren't happening. When I finally stood up to the bully, the teacher threatened detention and maybe out-of-school suspension to both of us because he was sick of the fighting.
