Burning CDs: Right or Wrong?

its kinda wrong and i kinda right. the right thing is, u can get ur music without buyin CDs or goin to a foreign country for one. the bad is, you could sell them, make a profit and ripoff the people who made the CD.

I also think it's okay. Burning them's perfectly legal. You just can't sell them for more than the cd's worth.

You can legally burn 2 copies of a CD, after that it's illegal. Selling them period is also illegal.

No, you can only sell them for the price of the blank cd you burned it on.

Well i think it is only right if you only make a copy for urself. If you burn another copy and give it to ur friend then it's wrong cause ur friend is just trying to get out of paying for the cd. Also it could be also wrong if u make a copy of the music cd and sell it. Even if you sell it for the same price i think the real cd's that sell like a portion of the money goes to the artist/band that composed it. Srry if i confused u

If you only wanted 2 or three songs from the CD I think its okay. If you're burning the whole thing I think you need to buy it. From time to time it okay. Imports (thoses $40 ones) are the exception.
