Video games are insane now! People pay ridiculous amounts of money and time for these things. These are actual events for examples.
Answer this:
-Would you pay $300-900 on eBay for a PSP that will be avalible in your area in 3 months for $200?
-Would you wait outside a store for 3 days to get a PS2 for $300?
-If you didn't get your hands on a PS2 at first, would you pay $500 to get one from someone who did?
-Would you pay more for a used nintendo ds on ebay than you could've got new from a preorder?
These are all things people do. Isn't it crazy? >.<

I waited 7 hours at walmart to get a Gamecube at launch, it was fun getting to know a lot of the other nintendo fans around my area while we wait til midnight to roll around.

You waited that long for a GC? O_O I have a gamecube, I got it about 6 months after it came out. I got it cause I loved my n64... beh. I don't like it... I'm not getting the nintendo revolution or whatever it's called, that's for sure.
