aite, listen. the portal thingy that sirius fell thru was "the gateway to the other realm". when u die, ur spirit goes to there to pass thru. so they were indicating when sirius fell thru the portal that he was dead before he hit the floor. meanin no comin back.

second, the "half-blooded prince" is referring to voldemort. he calls himself "lord". a "lord" becomes a prince. a prince cannot become a king until he has a bride "princess". then they become king and queen n blah blah blah. but anyways, voldemort's dad was half blood (he got his (muggle) name from him,(tom)) so voldemorts halfblood, mudblood, w/e! so they referring that voldemort is loose and that he is probably coming to power quickly, saying that in the end of the book hes probly gonna be like "all powerful" or sumtin. then in the 7th book a magical rainbow bird is gonna come down and save harry by playin the trombone! ugh, jus kill the kid off arredy, everyone wants to see voldemort win :guns: ...uhh...sorry for goin off topic.... *backs away slowly* :sweat:

Yes...JO is always keeping us on our toes! her website is great!! and sometimes gives out clues like chapter titles!! I am afraid of who will die because of the fact that she "killed" off one of my favorite characters! (not saying in case someone hasnt read the book yet) and now i am fearing she will do the same. anyone have any predictions on who will have the fate of dying in the 6th book? oh! harry will be leaving the dursleys much earlier this book...chapter 3 has something to do with the malfoys as well....hmmmm....

Also one of the characters will die, although she would not say whom. She also stated that Harry will make it to his seventh year, but she would not state whether or not he reached adulthood.

Again? First Sirius kicks the bucket, now who?I hate it when a character dies. :sniffle:

Any guesses? My bet's on one of the Order of the Pheonix members since Molfoy can't die until the book series is completed. He's Harry's main rival besides Snape.

Voldemort or Tom Riddle is a half-blood, his father was a muggle. So it is QUITE logical that he can be. I don't remember the prophecy all to well (book 5) so I don't remember if there were any references to this. However, since JK Rowling said it is, and assuming she was not lying, or the information distorted through hearsay... it could be just a legend in the school that she is now bringing to light, and there really is no reason why the half-blood prince has to be an existing character.

:thinks a moment: I'll look up on that prophecy and get it to the forum. It's the least I can do as an almost regular newbie.
