Naruto Has Been Liscensed!

Any Naruto fans out there?
Well Naruto has now been liscensed making downloading it from the internet even more illegal.

The NARUTO anime series is indeed licensed by their company. Once we are able to contact another representative from them next week we will know more details such as when the first release will be made.

Thanks to AnimeNewsNetwork.com for the article. It appears that this time, for real, the NARUTO anime series has been licensed by ShoPro Entertainment, one who is merged with VIZ LLC, the American company who has published the NARUTO manga in North America. We can not confirm what the future holds for NARUTO on the internet, but we do know that the BitTorrent trackers will be pulled down tonight most likely. This is the beginning of a new era for all of us. Dattebayo will make an announcement later on if they plan to continue subtitling the anime. The status of the manga releases should not change, as it has been licensed for a good 2 years. No word on if SaiyaMan will cease RAW releases. There is no word on what network the NARUTO anime will air on, or if it will just be direct to DVD.

Fansubbing won't stop (probably won't), like when FMA was licensed. It's probably going to be butchered like all other good animes.

Yeah I think it was in the topic LG made about Naruto getting licensed, but the topic got deleted when the forum was down.

Yeah, you can still download some episodes.I downloaded ep. 123 yesterday.

I heard that The dub guys are going to make English Naruto but from what I heard They are going to remove the sexy no-jutsu and they are going to make Haku a woman. I really don't know how they are going to make that episode when Naruto mets Konahomaru..... :huh:

Well, I won't believe any of the rumors until I see it announced officially, or when I see the dubbed version. But if they do change things like Haku's gender and the Sexy no Jutsu, doing that will cause a ripple effect, effecting other episodes too.

Probably the "Sexy No Jutsu" will have more clothes to not let that happen. And Haku being woman wouldn't be big deal except that the funny part: "By the way, I'm a guy" "Whaaaat?! But he's cuter than Sakura-chan" will be removed.

They were showing Saint Seiya full of blood so I don't think they have a problem with the blood really.

they will take out the sexy no jutsu scenes, well they might only show a shadow instead of smoke covering the skin. They will insure that most of the bloody scenes are gone for the sake of the younger children in other words, most of the Haku scenes will be ripped out due to mass blood. Naruto won't say "bastard" or any other swearing word. They might just put it so he was about to say a swear word then he gets cut off. They're most likely going to rename all the jutsus cept rasengan, chidori, ect. (maybe) And more retarded changes...

I hope the names of the jutsus remains the same. They shouldn't be touched. When they are translated they are really meaningless.

Chidori - thousand cranes. why? when its launched, it sounds like a thousand cranes screeching at once

kage bunshin - shadow clone. why? well cuz thats what it is

a few actually make sence. you just have to think harder for others.

chuunin - journeyman (most likely cuz of the english translated manga)

they might pronounce the names a bit wierd, most likely they will remove name endings like , -dono, -san, -kun, -chan, -sama, -ect

It doesn't really bother me. It's being dubbed in English, so why should it have honorfics when it's not part of the language? (It's a rhetorical question by the way)
