So waht do you think, is it realy possible for a single individual body to be the house of two individual sets of minds, two completely different beings?

This is a stupid question. Of course its possible. It happens all the time. To more people then you would think too.

i wouldn't know, but i think so.
the other day this weird 'sensation' filled my body, as if everything around me turned white, i was alone in the middle of nowhere, eventually i would feel as if people were there, but they weren't. Weird feeling. Anyways i noticed i had felt this before often in my dreams. So what if split personalities is likeoner personality is them, the other is them in a dream?
Longshot i know, but it just crossed my mind.

I think that when the other personality takes over, you pretty much just go into sleeping, only you have a dizzy spell before and after it takes over. You also can't remember anything that happens during the 'taking over'.
This is just a theory though... I think.

Of couse. It's like, how people know them and that person reacts towards they way people treat them I guess, kinda like me but not exactly a spilt-personality.
Like to his/her friends they might act differently and stuff, but to others, just strangers or ppl they just know but not much of friend they might seem different to the way their friends know them and such.
That's what I think anyway, but there are other ways I guess, that's just one. Some people just have completely differently personalites which kind of like switch on whenever they feel like acting different and being different I guess.

Who says its something they can control? What if they hate the fact that they have a split personality and try to keep it covered up the best they can? It's not an on-off switch, its a... something else.

Well I kinda meant that but I didn't.But oh heck, whatever, I guess it just happens whenever. But also, what if they do like that fact they have two personalities? For some unknown, weird reason? Eh.

As far as I know, not too many people are proud of it. Some people go around on the internet telling everyone about their 'split personalities' as if its some sort of fashion trend. But thats just dumb, as its not something to be made into a 'trend'.

i do think that split personalitys are real....people have actually been diagnosed w/ multiple instances of skitzophrania(sp???)...i mean, pplz say it like bein possesed. u jus black out then reawaken. it can be caused by anything, but the most common is tragedy...like seein someone die or sumtin....jus a big jolt and u jus hold everythin in for a while then ur body needs to get rid of it so u go skitzo and u have one side which is all u, and the other can be angry, sad, w/e. usually, if someone is jumped or raped, then ur other side will resemble a "body guard" and be tuff n not fraid of nethin. i believe it tho...even tho the evidience is sketchy.
i also believe in aliens, ghosts, bigfoot, and the loch ness monster :P

Split personalities are hardly paranormal. I guess you'd have to have one for yourself in order to believe in it.

My Uncle was actually a shiczo, and basically it is just a slow downhill spiral of the reasoning part of your mind into the abyss known as insanity. As for having actually a different body,or spirit if you will, inside of him,I doubt that, but Im more of a person who needs proof about things.Hence why I don't believe in the Garden of Eden, ghosts, etc.I can't really say what it is like to have a split personality as anyone who hasn't experienced it would not know, but I do know what it is like to be bi-polar,a frequently related problem. One day you may be a cheerful, happy person, the next you are out to kill everyone. That may be over-exaggerating a little, but for me there is the normal me,light hearted and relaxed, and there's another part that I have named Rion Mikado.Serious, quick to the point, rebellious, you get the point. But as long as the bastard pays rent it's all good.

That post made my head hurt.
I think we should stop caring about all these 'dissorders'. I think split personalities and those things are perfectly natural. 's not like any one in the good ol' days could help it back then. I think split personalities is something you're born with.
And why does no one believe in it? It's been proven that there are such things as split personalities. It can happen, has happened, and will happen.

Because maybe the person is faking?
Stevil

You don't know that for sure.
I know for a fact that some of the people aren't faking.

Yeah. It's all good.
In a way, I'm sure they sort of want the other personality. Most people who have them, they can be their best friends as well as their worst enemies at the same time. It's pure madness.
