x box by far it has a hard drive so you can down load songs and it has the most memery also it has the best game speed i have never seen a xbox slow down
but i have seen game slow down on the ps2 and game cube
and it online is the better then the ps2 so the xbox is far sopureror to the other consoles by far

Okay, well this is my opinon - Xbox has better graphics, features, etc(You can save games into the Hard Drive itself and the controllers are better.).But Xbox stole most of it's Non-Xbox Only from PS2. The only decent Xbox - Only games is Halo, the rest are okay and some are already on other consoles.
The thing about PS2, it has ALL the sequel games from original PS games and has better games which Xbox are unable to steal cause they haven't been made on it, yet (Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Socom Navy Seals I & II, etc)
But overall, I'd have to say PS2, I don't have it but I want it badly due to FFX, FFX-2, Socom Navy Seals I & II and FFXII, which will only come out on PS2, obviously.
Most of the games I have on Xbox I can get on PS2, except Halo which I can get on PC.

Get your butt in here and fix that up! Put PC on there! LOL PC is great. Counter-Strike, Half-Life, Half-Life 2, etc. IMO, PS2 is the best though. It simply has the best all-around-ness of it. Graphics are just as good as Gamecube, maybe a little bit better. Best games of all, IMO, including StarOcen Till The End Of Time, Tony Hawk games, Samurai Warriors, LOTR games, etc.

XBox is good for GFX and multiplayer games.

NGC is good for single-player games. Although it does have Tales pf Symphonia, which is awesome.

It just comes down to the fact that Playstation 2 is simply the best, lol.

hmmm you sure PS2 has same gfx as gamecube? I dunno cuz I dont usually play em.. like gamecube I think gamecube is a bit better though.... but man the only let down for PS2 is that crappy hardware... I mean how many times has your PS2 been taken to your shop... why do you have to make it stand vertical to make it work.... why do you have to flip it upside down to work... bah.. ps2 has too many crappy games on it and its a dvd player which is something i really dont care for. xbox is my bitch, but it has way too many good games on it that never get shown in the spot light due to masta chief and the covenat armada. but if i had to choose a system it would be my newly finnished modded xbox that plays both ps2 and box0rz games and my hyped up 200 gig hd makes this thing a monster... i need to replace the processer with the g5's and get a linux os on it.. heh..

bah, i can name alot of really good xbox games. the only problem that the box has is master cheif taking most of the spot light for most of the games. i know the system hardwear on the ps2 isnt that powerful, due for being rushed with the sega dreamcast at that time, it was released a year early. there are a few games i own for my 'x-station' /*as yoshi calls it*/ kingdom hearts, .hack, and xenogear saga. but other then semi-good rpgs on the station part, i got all my fps /*i dont have to name halo or cs. ghost recon1/2 */ rpgs /*not a rocket propelled grenade, but stuff like fable, kotor, jade empire, third age, red star*/ horror /*fatel frame director's cut..*/ fighting /*svc:chaos, doa, doa:ultimate, mvc*/.

The PS2 is clearly the winner, with free online and better games. Many favorites, although some of them can be found on the XBox, is better played on the PS2. I mean lets face it, the PS2 controller is so comfortable. Games such as Socom, Everquest, and Tony Hawk is widely played. The Eye Toy is extremely useful, not with today's crappy, "embarass yourself" kind of games. It is useful because you could have your face in the game. The XBox certainly has a hard drive, which is a good thing, but monthly fees to play online after you bought a 50 dollar game is just too much.

The GC may have been bad, but there are memorable games on it, such as the Resident Evil Series, and LMAO!...Harvest Moon!!

XBox has Halo and Halo 2, which is okay. However, Broadband only internet just pisses me off since I cant even get DSL because I live in the stupid projects.

I like the X Box. While it may not have a very wide selection, the games are usually good. Note that month by month the games get better and better, and those good games(few but plenty) are all VERY good. plus in multi-platform games, X box usually gets the better graphics and usually better additions. PS2 is great also, but I prefer my XBox. I prefer the controller(oddly, the controller is very comfortable), X Box games are usually funner, 4 controller ports. I have the PS2 for any good games that don't make it to the X Box ever or soon enough(Metal Gear 3, Dynasty Warriors, etc).

X360 still beats PS3. But in one catagory and thats streaming floating point on the cpu. But other then that the specs. tell all. x360 > PS3. X360 has 3 processor cells instead of the PS3's 1 cell core (the core as including the 8 smaller cells). X360 has a memory bandwidth 5x bigger then PS3's. And you get a nice little water cooled cpu pump too.

Your specs are so wrong. X-Box doesn't even have a cooling system. Which is why they had to recall so many when it first came out because they were all over heating...cause they suck.

I can't really decide which systems are good, since I have all the systems. PS2 and XBox is most played in my household. I get the PS2 versions of multiplatform hits because I can go to my local blockbuster to burn them....(Oh shit! My secrets out!!) I only buy xbox exclusives hence the exclusive part. Same for the gamecube.

Well there are good game in game cube... I have a X box , Game cube and I just recieved a PS2 two weeks ago. I love SUper Smash Bros on Game Cube. Super Mario Sunshine is also good and MARIO PARTY 4/5. Fire Emblem which gon come out Zelda Winwaker/twilight. Gamecube Rocks.I like Pro Evolution Soccer in PS2 Final Fantasies. the only game i like which is unique to X box is Halo/2

Alright guys. I'm a video game junkie and, since I'm more of a computer gamer, I don't have a personal favorite to consoles. I own a Gamecube and Xbox, while my friend covers the PS2 area (with DDR - YES!), so I've played it all.

Basically, it boils down to personal taste. A fact to anyone who knows anything about consoles, XBox is all about the system. Better graphics. Better hardware. Just a better machine. However, a gaming console isn't defined completely by the machine, but also by the games. Being the new kid on the block, Microsoft has pretty much nothing going for them in the line of First-Party games (games made by Microsoft) aside from Halo and an occassional glimmer. It specializes in Third-Party games (games made by other companies).

If you're looking for a large library of games, the PS2 is most definitely the target choice. If there's a good game out, there's a very good chance it came out for the PS2, especially if it's Third-Party. Though not as great hardware-wise, the system makes up for it by containing the largest library and the most diversity, so it's ideal for a person just getting into gaming (and is of reasonable age).

The Gamecube, the one I tend to have to back up a lot, is actually much better than a lot of people assume. However, the only problem with it is that it lacks in what PS2 specializes in - Third-Party games. Don't get me wrong. With series such as Zelda, Metroid, Starfox, and Mario racking in big bucks no matter the concept, Nintendo's got a winner. But overall, the variety is rather slim, boiling down to a lot of good multi-player games (Mario Party, Mario Tennis, etc.) and a lot of good RPGs (Skies of Arcadia, Final Fantasy Chronicles, etc.). This, however, deters people because the graphics tend to be made more for younger adults, something older people sometimes don't want to look past.

Unfortunately, I think that, to get the full console experience, you need to have all three or at least have access to all three. Since it is a gaming console, specs involving DVD and CD playability shouldn't even be counted (something Nintendo fans could agree to since Nintendo is dead set on being a video gaming company and nothing more), but online capability is also a huge factor that has XBox and PS2 owners overjoyed, especially with games such as Halo and Socom. Personally, if I play a console, it's usually my Gamecube only because it seems to have the best quality games, but also because it has the style of games I like. Either that or DDR on my friend's PS2. Everyone has their own opinion and this question will always be a toss up between the three the same way it's a toss up between what kind of game is the best (RPG, Action, Sports, Driving, etc.). It's all about personal taste, but every console contributes in its own way.
