~Sara’s POV~

Have you ever been in a prison?

Have you ever been in a prison, where there’s no walls, no guards, no barred windows? Nothing to hold you in except this unseen barrier, an unseen force holding you back from escaping just when you think you’re about to escape.

You cry, you beg, you scream, and it doesn’t release you. You just watch, as you see the others escape the prison to freedom, and you wait.

Days, weeks, months, years pass, and still you wait.

It’s a never-ending circle.

First, there’s joy, there’s no rules, no one to tell you what you have to do or where you have to be. You are no longer part of that world. You’re in your own, a free person with just the barriers, the invisible walls of a prison surrounding you.

Then, the circle continues.

You first start to feel depressed; you wonder why you’re still trapped in there. Why you have to be the one who suffers while everyone else has freedom that they can enjoy without the walls, the barriers that seem to surround only you.

You start to want to escape.

The first sign is you starting to lose hope, you no longer wanting to watch the other prisoners escape from your home………

Your prison.

Then there’s isolation.

You hide yourself, isolating you from others, you don’t want their pity, and you don’t want their anger for you still being trapped in the prison.

Their anger on whoever trapped you here.

Then there’s your anger.

It pours through your veins, you want to hit someone, and you want to lash out at anyone. Anyone who might just is an innocent, the people who have gotten out of your personal prison.

Your personal hell.

The circle ends with hope.

That it will start all over again, that you can once again escape, to taste the glorious freedom that others enjoy, that seems to be so close to reach for you, but you can never reach.

Then, the circle starts anew.

The breeze picks up, I close my eyes, feeling the softness of the breeze going through my hair as I sit in a field, close to a dungeon.

Waiting……….

“The World in all its wonders. This is my world, you see.”

I smile slowly, thinking of those infamous words that Tsukasa said, thinking that yes, he did own the world. I was there, even though no one saw me, I stood there and watched all that happened on that fateful day.

I run my hands through the grass, thinking in deep thought of that moment. Tsukasa was so sure that he was the only player trapped in “The World” the only one.

He was wrong.

I have my own personal prison. Where there’s a barrier, an unseen force holding me back from escaping out of it………

The World is my prison.

How many years has it been?

How many years has it been since I got trapped in The World?

I struggle to remember, knowing how little I know of the real world since getting trapped here.

Ten years………..

It’s been ten years.

I close my eyes, pondering, thinking about the severity of the time. My prison has never let me go.

I helped Tsukasa and Kite, hoping, praying that I would get from the world.

I never did.

I watched as others escaped, leaving me behind, trying to get out but somehow never succeeding.

I wrap my arms around my knees, burying my face into my knees, hiding the suppressed sobs that rise in my chest.

I feel a hand on my shoulder.

I don’t even turn around as I hear the person walk in front of me.

“You know……… You are wanted.” The person says, crossing her arms. “You shouldn’t be out in the out in the open.” I look up and her face softens when she looks more closely at what I’m doing, then she looks away. “There might be a chance for you to get out again.”

I snort softly, “that’s what we’ve been saying the last two times.” I look at my friend, my confident, and the person who I spy for, getting information to help her with the world.

Helba.

“What is happening this time?” I ask, looking at Helba carefully.

“The bracelet…….. It’s been given to someone new.” Helba says, looking at me carefully for my reaction.

I look up at her in surprise, shock quickly following, and settling on my face. “ You know what this means, don’t you?”

Helba looks at me pointedly, unwavering as I glare at her, “yes… It means that maybe you can leave this world once and for all.”

“It’s not only that, and you know that.” I retort, glaring at her. “You know the danger of the bracelet as well as I and Aura does, there must be something really urgent to have the bracelet returned.”

“Don’t jump to conclusions.” Helba says testily, “The return of the bracelet might mean freedom. You do want that, do you?”

I nod slowly, finally conceding to her point.

Helba puts her hand on my shoulder, trying to comfort me. “You’ll get out, I know you’ll get out this time.” She smiles warmly to me, and I manage to smile back.

The world is my prison.

And the circle ending with hope lands there…

Hope.

descent beggining descent, my only problem wiht ti is that you are saying that you were trapped before Tsukasa.. which is knida impossibl;e because the timeline of the worlsd specificalyl states taht Tsukasawas the first user ot evr be trapped int eh world..... other than that, tis good.

*rolls eyes to ceiling* Tsukasa.... It's a story... Make it a au if you want. But you can add other elements if you want to a story as long as it totally doesn't ruin the whole plotline.
