I'm going to have to say Robotnik, sure he may look more laughable but he has better plots, is more intelligent and almost prevails sometimes. Not to mention that Bowser's lackeys wouldn't really stand a chance against Robotnik's robot armies if they behave like they did in the Mario games.

Also that deep metallic voice in Sonic SatAM was so cool back in the day.

Eggman (Robotnik) is WAAAAAAAY smarter than Bowser. I bet he could make a bomb out of a cat, a cardboard box, and a piece of string! I read somewhere that his IQ is 300 (that isint even possible!....i think). Heck, even a little plumber (mario) can pick up Bowser and toss him like there is no tomorrow!

Robotnik... crazy and stupid!? He is a man with wonderful fashion sense! I mean, look at all of his different versions of the good Doctor!

As you can see his outfit is the red that redefined fashion and he has a large yellow belt. Those gray gloves are also a very nice touch!

http://www.satamsonic.com/media/subsonic/sub57.jpg This is the good doctor as he appeared in the old ABC Sonic the Hedgehog, also known to fans today as "SatAM" which aired during the early 90's like AoStH. As you can see he wears an attire similar to that of AoStH as seen above. This version also has a metallic arm that he got from that "pesky blue hedgehog" who knocked it into an operating "roboticizer" and is always in a state of constant never ending rage. This version was also used in Sonic Underground years later when Sonic had a brother and sister.

The usual red, yellow and black makes an appearance as well as a more common use of white. Although it doesn't redefine the fashion of the video game world of today, it's still one of his greatest outfits! This version was also used in the first Japanese Sonic cartoon Sonic X.

As you can see, Doc R. is hardly stupid or crazy, I mean look at those outfits! He is the king of fashion and building doomsday armies so he can conquer the world. Blah blah blah etc. etc. etc.
