just a question about the bg you used on your gfx's:
are you doing them yourself, when "yes" can you explain me how or give me a site where their explain it
..or are you loking for them on internet (that's what i do :D)

Yes, you do make them yourself. Brushes are the preferred medium for making them, and deviantart probably has some of the best. Elements 3.0 works fine, I ought to know; I use it.

Select the brush tool, brush an area, make a new layer brush another area and so. When yuo are ready with it you can change the "Layer Blending" and get nice effects.

Then you should add some colour balance and hue/saturation and curves...
