ok i jus dled a version of photoshop (version 7.0). yeah, its a trial version, but i can keep dlin it whenever i want. i found a great site w/ a whole bunch of uhhh "under the table" dl's. anways, back to the subject. i need some help in photoshop. once u teach me, i think that i can learn and make sum things that r pretty good. i probly wont be nething extrodinary, but i would hope to jus learn it so i can do some banners for sites and junk for my friends. so....please teach me...

wow... I personally think there isn't a way to teach photoshop except for in person.. You just gotta mess with it and use tut to learn basics and stuff

Not true, my firend steven (kakashi) taught me alot of basics...and it was he who taught me photoshop. althought it was kidna hard for him lol and i still ask him for help, but not as much anymore...

this in a way is true, to get to a damn good gfx you have to start with basics that you learn, master that skill, and then try new things. On the other hand I was taught some of the skills i use by my mentor Cyro_tek. which he taught me a little more than the basics with photoshop and skills with 3d programs. SO Jester your best bet is to practice as much as possible and try different tutorials and things to learn they basics.

yep isnt it funny how the more you do photoshop the better you get lol... I see that example layouts I make lol I remember when I made crap... then that evolved to crud then it got ok... lol now its sorta good I guess

Don't start off making layouts and banners and stuff. Practice with filters and effects with a 100 x 100 pic. Then work your way up the pixel's.
