Maybe if you like Shadow, he was created for the sole purpose of being a rival for Sonic in Sonic Adventure 2 because the idea for that game was rivalry and because of his unexpected popularity they decided to bring him back despite the fact that he could not have possibly survived the fall at the end of the game... even in the Sonic universe a fall like that means death. I'm also rather skeptical of this title because the last popular Sonic character spinoff, "Knuckles Chaotix" was mediocre at best.

Wasn't it implied that he had his memory back in Sonic Battle? He mentions Maria and goes on rants about being a weapon of destruction created by Gerald Robotnik. Unless they act like Battle never happened (which I wouldn't blame them if they did) Shadow shouldn't have to embark upon a quest to find his memory.

This game really ups technolodgy in the Sonic world. To me the guns kill it all.

Shadow implies that he got his memory back in Sonic Battle, which takes place after Sonic Heroes which is after Sonic Adventure 2.

Shadow kick ass and all... Just this is going to be Shadow's Bad Fur Day all over it. I like the arsenal of diffrent weapons Shadow can use, and the vehicals... Though this game can suck.. Like Heros.
