eh I highly doubt that is the main objective of the people who own the bots. SmarterChild helps with homework I believe and others well... I haven't seen any others yet :p

The point of these type of robots is to annoy people to the point that they either say something really stupid, or are totally oblivious... these then get posted on blogs and websites in sections known as 'AIM Pranks.' I can recall quite a few sites that have done this in the past, one of which includes the long dead AnimeOrigins.

I never tried SmarterChild, i have always used ZolaOnAOL all the time.
