Creates a faerie's melody

As darkness descends, making the day fade into dead night. A cold breeze tears though the desolate city plains and breaking the sleeping silence, the low rumble of thunder plays its role. At the opening mouth of the city, a lone figure stands against the winds screaming at her to get far far away from the barren land, but the being pays no attention to their please and continues on. Lightening crashes, dazzling, through the sky, piercing the earful hearts of the dead that lay rest underneath the ground. Fain, a sound so quiet that even the all knowing heavens would not have heard it, but she did. The darkly entity shifted her gaze and turned around slowly to face whatever had created the ghosting noise....

Info: Basically...how I started an english paper and I was happy with it...some words may not make sense, but they're like hidden meanings... "earful hearts of the dead". meaning to it, not just words thrown together.
