My personal fave is Leon S. Kennedy, so naturally I am awaiting the PS2 port of RE4 with great anxiety.

Anyways, while I'm all for good graphics, that looks too real for my taste. I usually like playing games that super graphics and everything, but still have a sense of fantasy. Because to be honest, that fool looks ugly =P Not being gay, but prefer playing as people I can imagine myself being, and i don't want to be ugly!

My favorite one was Wesker and still is. The person I like to play as is Jill Valentine (For once because she's hot but for two cause she knows how to kick ass).

But with that said, I think this game (regardless of who you control) is still gonna be good. All Resident Evil games are good. And I can't wait to get this one. (And 4 for the PS2)

Do my eyes decieve me or is that Chris Redfield back for more!? DUDE!? I hope they bring in Jill and or Claire!! Would be freaking awesome!!! Also, a person to mention.... Wesker!!

the more I look at it the picture does look like chris, but it will fit seeing how Jill was brought back in Resident Evil 3, Leon in resident evil 4, and now Chris in resident evil 5

This sucks leon owns chris they should of kept leon. I dont think that this game will be as good as re4 why? Well for one no leon also i have a strange feeling about it. If re5 is better then re4 then ill never talk about wacko jacko again.

Wesker was never gone he played a small part in re4. Also i have reson to beleave he will have some thing to do with re5 due to assignment Ada mini game in re4. In withch you had to collect samples for wesker i think that those samples have something to do with re5.

Either way, Wesker has mostly been in all Resident Evil games. Then It's no suprise if he shows up. Awesome.

Regardless of who it is, it's still going to rock. If we're lucky we might have cameos from every resident evil character. But I doubt that.

Officially, the trailer was never to air publicly.

July 26, 2005 - Citing an official press document from Sony's PlayStation Meeting 2005, Capcom asked Internet publications to remove any sign of movies or stills taken from the Resident Evil 5 trailer. According to a company official, the trailer was never to be filmed in the first place and will be aired officially in the near future. No real window of time was given, however.

Those who were lucky enough to catch the wildly popular Japanese trailer were treated to a pretty impressive vision of what the future of Resident Evil looks like. A lone soldier finds himself in a desert town, quite similar to the scenes from Somalia featured in Black Hawk Down. The wavy distortion and haze of the hot climate is a continuing theme. As he searches the city he is startled by a large flock of black birds. The trailer then cuts to a team of undead-like creatures staggering under the bright mid-day sun; soon after, the creatures shadows paint nearby walls, showing they are now running. Soon they close in on the lead character, he spins around to greet them with his sleek, modern pistol and the trailer abruptly ends with the teaser "Biohazard" (known as Resident Evil to the rest of the world.

Be sure to check the official screenshots for scenes from the trailer, but it looks like we'll be waiting -- very impatiently, we might add -- for the official release of the trailer. We speculate this will come before or at the time of the Tokyo Game Show 2005, which takes place in mid-September. Stay tuned.
