Quite frankly, I'm apolled (sp?) that American soldiers would do something such as this. It makes us looks bad and makes other countries fear us even more ...

I was appalled, too. Sadly enough, most of the soldiers will only get a slap on the wrist for their actions. It does make us look bad, but no one learns from it.

It's a bad way to put it..... But yeah, that's true.. Really sad when you think about it. Rumsfeld is getting skinned alive for this.... He's in deep trouble.

I recently saw the decapitation of Nick Berg video. I have never been madder at the terrorists after i saw that

Getting mad won't help... What will happen then? We'll torture more prisoners? For payback for the beheading? Then what happens? War is ugly..... Never this ugly, but ugly. Having revenge over something that happens, it will continue as a spiral. Yes, the military should be punished for what they did..... And the terrorists had no right to do what they did. But retailiating won't help, either.

I'm sort of mad at Bush, actually. They shouldn't have gone into Iraq in the first place. It had no connections to the attacks. Though I don't entirely blame him. One of the people in his cabinet likes going to war.

BUSH likes going to war!!!!!! I think part of the reason he went to Iraq was to finish what his dad started when he was in office.

The saddest thing about these pictures, is that a recent survey says this is a more common thing than you think that is happening in Afghanistan and Iraq.

did you know that by the numbers of american soldiers killed so far in iraq this yr, it would take 1000 yrs to get up to the amount killed int eh civil war (4 yrs)

It just shows how great a country we are(great meaning powerful). If we get into a civil war, ow. Actually, uncannily, the Civil War actually pumped us up for fighting other countries, not ourselves? We had more ships, more ironclads, better cannons-practically everything but more soldiers-which is what most mothers think about, unfortunately. :(
