Hey i just got world of warcraft,i havent started playing the game because i need a credit card number or one of those pre paid cards but ill be on by tommrow so who else has the game and whats your server/name/lvl/charactertype. i think im going to be
moonrunner/Rev or Revidude or Raza Rev or sumthin good with rev in it/1 lol/nightelve hunter

I was thinking of getting it, although I really don't feel like paying $55 just for the damn game... If It was more FFXI price (around 30) I might reconsider. I still want to play it, so I might get it if I see something I like.

It does cost 50$ but from what i know its worth it. i havent activated my account yet due to my parents not letting me use there credit cards so i have to get a pre pay card before activating my account (pre pay cards cost 30$ and give you 60 days) but yea this game has over 4 billion pplz! also it got game of the year from gamespot, and gamespot has the toughfest ratings around (They only gave like four games a 10) but yea if anyone is at all interested in it they should go tohttp://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/worldofwarcraft/index.html?q=world+of+warcraft

All I keep hearing is stuff like how bad the Servers are, they're always down, some people say its too 'cartoony'.. It looks pretty cool, but I think I would rather give it a test before I spend a non-refundable $50.

Yea when someone buys wow they get a thing that has 10 days free for a friend. what you do is normally install the game on there comp and then type in a special serial, if u wanted a try i would suggest asking one of your friends that have the game (if any of them do) also i would say if you like MMORPG's this is the one to get. its been said to be the best mmo ever. and with 4 billion players who can doibt that

Get on Dark Iron and you will see the server actually crash from all the fucking ass kicking. It's damn awesome but its a long wait into Dark Iron, but it's worth it.
This game is way better then FF11, by the fact that it's Blizzard. The servers are much more stable then before when the open beta and early release of it. The only few time I seen a crash was because PA, CAD, and PVP players keep running more then half of the servers' population into one area and fighting it out to the death. It's damn sexy.

I've played both WoW and FFXI and I personally got more attached to 11, the people in it are just so much cooler and the envirement and activity is bigger. You're talking to somone who's played a level 60 Warrior and Rouge.

FFXI Isn't fun, we don't care about your levels, its boring, dull, laggy, and a waste of money. Also playonline sucks cow testicles since it takes 5 minutes to login to 11.

As for WoW.. 10 Isn't enough. For $50-55 I excpect a month free. Hell, FFXI gave a month free and the game is only $30. And yeah, I know all about CAD, PA, and AG's squirrley rath.

it is, if you like the idea of playing with a ton of pplz online you would like it , but if you dont know about the gameplay i would check out some videos of it at gamespot, ill get u some urls

that is where the media is and i suggest you watch the video review(one closest up to the top), if you see that you will know exactally what the game is like (For the most part) but if u want to u should watch more

I play a bunch of types of MMORPG's so I know how it is playing with tons of people online.. And I still don't think its worth it. The only way I would decide if it is would be to play it for myself.

yea i guess there no way to play it on your own, so if i were u i would just wait untill the price drops or somthing. or just not get it at all

If a friend of yours has it then u could see if he still has the 10 day free thing, also it would cost 15$ per month. instead of using mastercard or anything u can just buy these 60 day pre paid cards for 30$, thats what i do.

none of my friends have it but my friends dad does. someone would have to drive me to his house since he lives farther away.
