Alright first debate;

Is teen titans an anime?

Yes or No.

I think NO!!! Because it was based on the DC comic book, and DC comic books are NOT anime. Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, etc are not anime created by a japanese crew. I say no. What do you think?

I agree. Teen Titans is DC's attempt (notice i say "ATTEMPT") at making an anime. Too many over exaggerated(sp?) faces. You have to understand the basic Japanese culture to get good at making a good anime. Japanese people dont really translate their feelings (like Americans) in words (that much). They either talk to themselves or express it in their faces. In their faces, you have to exaggerate the feelings, because the drawings are usually small (notice i say "USUALLY", .hack//sign is a good example of the unusual but good anime without the faces). Now, im sorry for writing such a long and boring debate, but, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH SLADE, TEEN TITANS IS NOT AN ANIME AND DC SHOULD NEVER ATTEMPT AN ANIME AGAIN!

1. its made after a comic strip(not manga)
2. it made its appearence in US first i think...or europe...
3. look at the eyes...that's a sign to me that thats not an anime
