Square-Enix has released an international version for FFX-2, just like FFX. Instead of Koda Kumi, Jade from Sweetbox will be singing the songs in this game with Japanese subtitles. The characters will have English voices but Japanese subtitles. You will not receive any experience in Last Mission but it will have its own Story Completion Counter.
Final Fantasy X-2: International is quite significantly different to the original "Final Fantasy X-2" released in Japan. The game bears various new features, including English Voice-Acting, several new minigames and the ability to have quite a number of different NPC's in your party. This is quite different to previous "International" releases, which usually contained nothing more than what was included in the American (and/or PAL) versions of the game. The game includes not only these new features, but also it will be packaged alongside a new scenario entitled "Last Mission".
New Characters: Square Enix have wisely decided to include the ability to have more playable characters in your party than just Yuna, Rikku and Paine. From what we know so far, you will be able to have (at the very least) Leblanc, Logos, Ormi, Brother and Buddy in your party. Other speculated characters include Nooj, Baralai and Gippal.
New Dress Spheres: Psychicer is one of the new dress spheres as well as Festival Goer.
New Garment Grid: There would be a new garment grid which means "Vile Fiend", used for capturing fiends.
New Bosses: There would be a Fiend Coliseum where there are a lot of very hard bosses such as Tidus, Auron, and Seymour. Another boss that is been heard of is the monster "Emerald", which is supposedly harder than Trema in the game.
New Minigame: You capture monsters through some sort of pod trap and place them in it. The game features a verses mode with allows the monster to fight with the party. (I have no idea how that would work) There are rumors that you can enter none playable characters in the game as well as your party. If your monster gains a lot of levels, then you can choose to release them, which will trigger a scene on how they became a monster. if you release them at a later date, then you are able to collect those scenes.
LAST MISSION
The last mission would take you about 20 hours to complete not including the full motion videos, which would take about a few hours to finish. It would be able YRP receiving a mysterious letter at Luca telling them to investigate the newly discovered ruin named Yadonki Tower. The battle system would very different, and the characters would have a little sign, like when they learn an ability, when they get a new level. The style for changing dress spheres would be different also.
It is very much like Bevelle's Via Infinitico except it goes up instead of down. You can save on some levels and use items. You will get to use all of the Dress Spheres in FFX-2 including Psychicer. THere would be a new dress sphere inside the tower (Festival Goer) and there would be a last boss, Emerald. (very similar huh?)
It could be possible that Shinra sent the letter because he wanted something at the top of the tower, but it is still unknown at the moment. It could give us some more information about the Crimson Squad. There also might be another ending added, but they're all unknown at the moment.
