i thought cky was a skate board deck by element not a band and green day is better than hanson any day

Hanson was sarcasm... They're a gay pop band.

CKY is a skate board deck. The band just came out first. CKY is a trend that CKY the band started, and then Bam Margera (the drummer from CKY's brother) turned it into a fashion trend. It started with the very first CKY video, which Bam margera directed, and of course it has music from CKY the band throughout it. Then came Jackass, which was pretty much a cencored CKY, but not as good. Then came Viva La Bam (and wildboys, but they're just posers and fags). By now, CKY the band has had 3 cd's, jackass has had 3 seasons and a movie, CKY the movies has had 4 movies put out, there is all sorts of CKY and Bam Margera clothing/skateboards/merchandise in every hottopic store you go to, and since Bam is so big on skateboarding, he put out his own skateboard line, and of course he named it after CKY.

cknapp: That's true, though in my book, RHCP still rock this decade.And they always will, xD.Their music is just alot different to other rock bands, it's a mix of alot of styles, that's what makes them unique and so totally awesome. *nodnod*

*Reads Stevil's Explanation* Uh-Huh, I sure understand that.

Oh man, I was looking at your above post and I was all like "this guy's got a decent taste for music". Then I saw stacy's mom and that abolished it.

For your christian bands, why isn't skillet or noggin toboggan on there?

...:::Noggin Toboggan:::...

...:::Skillet:::...
http://www.gospel.nl/images/covers/large/ffd5159.jpg
http://houseofjames.com/pics/766887250722.jpg

You should also consider looking into CKY (non christian). Their cd's are awsome as well.

...:::CKY:::...
http://www.townsend-records.co.uk/acatalog/ckyvol1.jpg
http://www.happychicken.org/song/Cky.jpg

I find it humorous how their first cd has an "explicit lyrics" label on it, when there's no swearing in the entire cd, and they only have one "not very good" song on the entire album.

Here's one of my favorite CKY songs:
http://wwws1.countryday.net/2007/lentos/My%20Shared%20Folder/CKY%20-%2096%20Quite%20Bitter%20Beings.mp3

Oh, and please tell me your favorite Pillar song is Fireproof.

I never knew POD and Three Days Grace were Christian bands here. I would of never guess, personally. Interestin', very interestin'. Thanks for teh info Vash. You have a taste which I have not heard of :P
Anywho here still a GN'R fan, even if the band's no more? I only started liking them awhile ago, since they're old and i'm young. You know, yeah. Three of Velvet Revolver's members are ex-GNR members.

Vash the Stampede
Sep 17th, 2004, 10:17 AM
Yea, they don't always sound Christian. Pick up some As I Lay Dying, some real Metalcore, and they don't sound Christian at all. And I'm surprised that even though P.O.D. doesn't sound Christian that people still like them. Most people I know say they have no talent.

The world is a ghetto! The world is a ghet-to! The world is a GHETTO!!

Yea, I'm weird like that, lol. I'm not really into stuff that sounds too Satanic, like Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver, although I do listen to Godsmack and Metallica a little. But I never really could get into that.
