Video Game Moments: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Okay..... Here's the moments where you just love your game and your system.... Or you feel like running out of the room screaming because something just happened and you're mad and frustrated.

Good
Kingdom Hearts
Beat Sephiroth at level 50 on expert mode using the Kingdom Key. Plus I chose magic and gave up defense at the beggining. The only spell I ever use is healing.

Bad
Breath of Fire 1
RugaX - The most annoying boss on the face of the planet. Died well over 100 times against him because of, get this, pure bad luck. I did in fact run out of the room screaming after losing to him once.

Ugly
Animal Crossing
I was stung by a bee. Hideous.

Good:
Final Fantasy IX
Beating the game. The first final fantasy game i ever beat. Awesome moment for me.

Bad:
DDR
Just Playing It. I can't dance. Heh.

Ugly:
Megaman Zero 2
I was so freaking close on beating the boss of the game. SOOO CLOSE! Gah i could even taste the victory. He was one health point away and he killed me! If i only JUMPED! GAH!!!!!!!!

Best moment of my gaming life:
Capcom Vs. SNK 2
The fight that changed my life forever. I can still remember the moments.

The moment began when i locked eye to eye with my opponent. He grinned knowing his victory was at hand. "You ain't going to beat me kid." He trash talked, "Nobody ever did, nobody ever will." I did not respond. All i did was smirk and glanced at the game. Immediatly we attracted crowds, i guess we both had a reputation into this game. Both of us were well known as undefeated. Nonetheless, we began. I took a deep breath and chose my characters wisely.

First one i chose was Joe. A great character to use in my point of view. My second choice was the tea-kwan-do kicking fanatic Kim. Be aware you must really study his movement. As for me i got a tricky finger. That's why im great with him. Lastly, my favorite and best character i used was Ryu. I smiled knowing he was going to help me win.

He chose his characters. Knowing him he knew about my reputation as the "tricky fingers". He grinned. First he picked Yamazaki. Who i thought was a worthless character but soon take that back. His second choice was Guile, i dont really like him but he knew how to use him. Lastly, Iori Yagami, a great great character that you must handle, just know it's hard to bust out moves with him.

It began, the people behind us stared behind me. Into the screen in which the battle commenced.

Joe vs. Yamazaki

It was hard to capture his movements. Yamazaki is a tricky character. See he has a move where you attack him he absorbs it and counters immediatly. That's the thing he got me great on. So i used that to my advantage. It wasn't long for my defeat. But he was a great character. Which is why i use him for practices heh.

Second match:
Kim vs. Yamazaki

It wasn't long for his defeat so i beat him since his health bar was low.

Kim vs. Guile

I defeat him easily. That's not what i needed to worry about.

Kim vs. Iori

It was amazing. He defeated me easily. I didn't even land a single punch. I was amazed shocked and most of all desperate. Desperate to win. My palms were sweating, my heart was beating fast, my hands were shaking. It was exciting. Even the adience was silent in an awe.

Ryu vs. Iori (Last match)

Ryu was in low health bar since iori was impossible to touch. I landed some hits but it was nothing compared to what he did. He was in higher than middle of the bar while my character was in low. I could see my opponent grin knowing his victory was at hand. But i never gave up. Iori jumped head on at my character. and with my "tricky fingers" i pulled out the ultimate move i could never have dreamed of doing. I defeated him. I couldn't hear the background behind me, the people cheering. All i could here was my heart beating and my breath saying, "I won"

[Anguish]

Good: When I finally beat The Library on Heroic. IT IS THE HARDEST FRICKIN' LEVEL ON THE PLANET!

Bad: quote what I said in my last post-in Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow

Ugly: Losing to my little brother on Halo in Battle Creek. It was humiliating.

Good:

FINALLY BEATING FFX!!!!!! I PLAYED THAT GAME THREE FREAKING TIMES BEFORE GETTING TO THE ENDING!!!! Of course... By the time I got to Yunalesca, I refused to start the game again.. I thought I was near the end. :silence:

Bad:

Hmm... Losing so many times in front of my dad.. It was embarassing.

Ugly:

Losing to Jecht four times in FFX with dad. After I beat Jecht at least a dozen times before that.

The good beating Ninja Gaiden on very hard and beating Halo on legendary. The bad racing the chocobo trainer in the calm lands on FFX trying to have zero or less for my time it took 2 hours and a half just to do it. The ugly i dont know

Good: Beating .hack//Qurrantine. It was a kick-butt game, with a kick-butt ending.

Bad: .hack: Qurrantine: The last dungeon. Been there five times so far, and I get game over before I reach the fourth floor.

Ugly: Same game, finally getting to the 13th floor and getting game over two rooms into the floor.

Good: Sniping People in the head in Socom 2 online

Bad: Getting Sniped in teh Head

Ugly: Getting sniped in the head by a nooby... lol

[Vash the Stampede]

Good:
Getting higher than 10% accuracy on Counter-Strike (ROFL!)

Bad:
The first day I played Counter-Strike, I got raped SOOOO badly. I mean, it was just horrible. My accuracy at the end of the day was 1.46%. I was banned from a coun tless number of servers, lmao. (Raped = Pwned. Pwned = Badly beaten)

Ugly:
I was one stinkin song away from unlocking the last song on DDR! (I forget which one) STUPID FOT SLIPPED AND HIT THE START BUTTON WITH RESTARTED THE GAME! NOOOOO!

Good:getting a 15/7 win in Halo over my friend with a pistol and a shotty

Bad: Getting killed at point blank range with a rocket launcher by my friend

Ugly: Sticking myself with my own grenade when i was aiming for my friend

the good: any contra that is not 3-d

the bad: the fact that sony might actually lead the way into blu-ray technolgy, rendering dvds as crap...

the ugly: the large amount of crappy games that are out on ps2

good: going on a halo fest, 22 kill killing spree(alot considering those i play with), surviving up to the last round of players =) (halo)

bad: that bad moment when you're about to kill someone by headshot w/sniper, and someone wacks you from behind. (halo)

ugly: the constant slaughtering a noob gives you when he has a shotgun and you ahve a plasma pistol (halo)
