im currently playing 5 Xtreme Legends and im totally hooked i cant get separated from my ps2
well except whe i have to go to work
but thats what dynasty warriors for psp is for :D

first time i saw it was in Sony Center in Berlin :D nice memory... it was DW2
and it was 2nd game ive bought for my PS2
i don't remember who is my fav, cuz i've played it looong ago, but i still know it gives lots of fun. things that i've liked the most was killing archers on walls and hiting ppl with bow :D

well samurai warriors is almost the same but with japanese heroes instead of chinese.
although the missions thing was kinda fun :)

i don't own all of the Dynasty Warriors, mainly i have dw4 and dw4Legends. the level 10 and 11 weapons are damn right the best. DW3 was pure crap. Lu Bu was like.. wasn't half as Uber, i considered Guan Yu as the best character in DW3

I love the DW series it's those damn romace of the three kingdom games I hate they drive a lot of potential DW players away.

Oh yea Zu Yun is my fav character that's the green kingdom under the 3 brothers

i do not own a ps2 but i am downloading dynasty warriors 4 hyper for pc

I've played all the dynasty warriors games and found them all to be enjoyable, but lately, there hasn't been many changes in the gameplay. Dynasty Warrors 2 was revolutionary because it made a big jump from the traditional one-on-one fighting game found in the first one to a totally different free-roaming, hack'n slash beat-em-up. Then again, Dynasty Warriors 2 is the start of a totally different line of a brand new installment of Koei's games. In Japan, Dynasty Warriors was called Sangoku Musou, and Dynasty Warriors 2 was called Shin Sangoku Musou. From then on, all of them adopted the Shin Sangoku Musou name.

The first time i played it was great.. But once u play that everyday a bit for a month, it gets quite ok xD
Worst case scenerio:
Maxed all characters xD
Completed everything(toughest)
Your friends don't come over to let u show off =D

well i have two brothers who cant get enough of Dynasty Warriors, they told me to try it out i guess its okay, i would give this game 8.5 out of 10.
My brothers have Dynasty Warriors 2,3,4, they wont stop talking about the story line and the characters such as LuBu, zhou tai and so on!!

well, maybe the style hasnt change too much but the the changes are good enough to keep playing em.
also the thrill to know what new officer will be playable in the next one

i currently have 3, 4, 4XL, 5, 5XL, the one for psp and the one for gba :)

and my fav character is sun ce :ok:

Lu bu is the strongest xD though i don't really like him in the story (he's very dumb) Dun they get bored?? xD

I played it alot and i played from 2-5 of the series on ps2, i didn't really like it how they never put in many new characters, they just got a noboby general and gave him a spear wait everyone has a spear, thats another problem, to many characters have the same style of fighting and weapons.

i played Dynasty Warriors 4 with my brother whenever i get to convince him to play.

i used to play dw 4 in my cousins ps2 all the time....but i stopped after we bought an xbox a year ago.....its tons of fun

its just like gauntlet seven sorrows (game where u just kill everything xD), but with better graphics

i played it b4... its an okay game lu bu was stuipid and lui bei just has dumb luck at the start but its still an nice game.

... Lu bu is dumb but IS the strongest if his opponent doesn't have any strategy.. You can say liu bei just have dumb luck or he's just destined to meet these good brothers and die with them.. (which is also dumb as he gave up all the hard work they had fought for)

Fwee~ I'm late to answer but I just got my internet back and I have to comment on Dynasty Warriors because it is my favorite game. In all truth Lu Bu isn't dumb and he is strong (a bit over rated if you ask me). He did have some what of a strategy and if he didn't then how else would he be that feared? Surely he didn't go around just killing anyone. Diao Chan and Dong Zhou used him but that doesn't make him dumb. He was in love with Diao Chan and Dong Zhou was his adopted father.

As for Liu Bei, the only reason why he got where he was is because of, in my opinion, Zhuge Liang who was the greatest strategist aside from Sima Yi and I can't remember the other guys name right now.

As for the games I have every single one from Dynasty Tactics 2 to Dynasty Warriors 5: Extreme Legends and Dynasty Warriors Advanced and for the PSP. I'm waiting for Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires to come out since I loved Dynasty Warriors 4: Empires.

I guess that is all for me right now. Ja~!

one thing i use to hate about dynasty warrior was that the frame rate would slow down sometimes!

It still does that but not as much as it used to. Koei is really working on that. Dynasty Warriors 5 compared to Dynasty Warriors 3, it's hardly that noticeable. But in DW5 sometimes when it slows down it can really help. I'm glad that it's being fixed.

I like that game and it does somewhat follow the history timeline behind it even tho there is some changes but its still cool in game-wise :)
