Video Game Challenges

Okay.... This is really interesting. You pick any game that's out there, from any system, and you post a challenge for people to do in that game. If you can succeed, you can post the results here. They can't be impossible, like getting the triforce from Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time. Here's one:

If you can get through all of Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time on three hearts without dying once. Meaning Game Over.

It actually has happened in several games. I've never tried it, but Nintendo posted it as a challenge and many people actually have done it. You just go through the warp with no heart piece. That's the trick to it.

In Halo, in the level the Silent Cartagropher, get the warthog to fly really high. After u clear the beach and u get in a hog, take some marines somewhere and shoot them. WHen lots of grenades are on teh floor, throw one of yours. If you do it right, it shall explode and set off a chain reaction and it shall send the hog flying. I have some screens i took to show

Beat the second-to-last boss with no magic and weak weapons in Final Fantasy X, both forms.

Ok. Check this out. Beat Diablo2 on hell with no resistance(meaning its still at -90 resistance) With mediocre items and a build that you have never tried. Here's the fun part: by yourself.

how bout this??? in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword, Beat the Game with only the required character (usually the lords) for each level when possible

Here's one: Fight Sin's front in FFX after casting Slowga on everyone and not using aeons, the one with Sin's overdrive before it reaches full and you lose.

In .Hack//INFECTION beat skeith with no healing items... nor wavemasters and healing skills! And I mean right when you get to Skeith in .hack//INFECTION.. Has to be below 30

There's actually an ending to that game??? I thought it was like Harvest Moon... It goes on for eternity.

Hmm...... Get up to a hundred thousand in any Harvest Moon game in three years without raising a single animal.

beat Megaman Zero 2 without dying once. Not once!!!

Beat MMZ2 without dying(S or A all the way through) and no powerups(health), cyber elves or extra weapons besides ur sword and blaster(now thats just about impossible)

this is impossible very very impossible, beat the first 2 levels on ninja gaiden with out dieing, yea u think 2 level no prob but the game is hard the hardest i ever played but its also one of the funest too.

Well, I've died 44 times on Oracle of Ages, rofl .... that was my first file though, lol ....

Hmm... Fight Smithy in Super Mario Brothers RPG with no weapons or armor, and a low level, and win.

beat the 2 master hands in super smash bros melee for GC with only 3 or 2 lives... or 1 life.

Hmm...... *thinking* In FFX chocobo training with the race, get hit by all the birds and still win.

This is very possible. But just try it.

Beat any pokemon game with just one pokemon.

Man... That's tough. Hmm.... I'll add to the challenge, then with the Chocobo racing, you have to get hit by all the birds, and not hit any of the ballons on the course, and still win.

Super Smash Bros. Melee... play hard, you have 100% and u have to fight unlimited people... and.... you have to stay there for more than 5 minutes

Run from every battle in FFX except the required ones, and win the game with no dying once.

That is 100% completely impossible ... you have to have Cut, Surf, Strength, Whirlpool, Waterfall, Dive, etc. in order to win ...

You have a point, Vash.... Pokemon can only have four moves that it can learn. In Ruby and Sapphire, you need all of the HM's to get through Victory Road. The challenge can change to only battles, though.... Like the Elite Four and the gym leaders. Hmm... In Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time, battle the last form of Ganon with just your swords. No other weapons.

In Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner, beat the game with only ur normal weapons, Grab, and Vector Cannon(those 2 weapons are required to beat the game) Now try beating Anubis with no Zero Shift like that!!! XD

Well, all except for Fly and Cut.

*lightly swats Vash over the head* Picky.... *kiddingly* Anyway... Onto the next one: Beat Final Fantasy X without saving OR touching any of the save sphere's or resting.

I know there's some times when it's an automatic save or resting period, so you can rest then, but don't rest or save for the rest of the time in the game. Including touching the save sphere, since that automactically heals you.

Get Platinum Medals on all 007: Nightfire levels on first try ...

Now that's hard, lol. Especially the underwater car level and the multi-vehicle level with the plane, the SUV, the cannon, etc ...

very easy. i always do that. i use biggoron and master sword, ya dont need anything else

One of my favorite challenge's was always the FFVII no materia challenge. But that's been done, let's add some more, no limit breaks over level 1.

I also enjoy the no sphere grid challenge for FFX.

By the way, did the Gannon one. Giant's Knifed(broken) him into oblivion, never even got hit once. Only managed this one time.

Here's one.... In FFX, walk through the Tower of the Dead.. And don't get hit by ONE icicle.... And get all ten spheres.

if someone has said this already, sorry, but I'm not about to read 3 pages to find out someone didn't say this unless it's in RPG when I have to catch up on something. Anyway, beat 343 Guilty Spark(On Legendary, just to make sure you won't) without getting hurt-that includes shields too. YEAH, THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! HAVE FUN TRYING! :p

Beat Tarvos in .hack: Quarrentine with no resurrects, no wavemaster, and only ten Healing Elixers.
