i like the free online play, i can afford software and expansion, but not a heafty monthly fee

its an ok game.. story MAKES SENSE unlike most games.. lol... its logical.. gameplay is a little too simple... no monthly fee = godly .. but i need the expansion in order to move on.. i'm bored with characters that have completed all the missions... i prefer guild wars over WoW for its simplicity...

I liked it.The story was short tho but the role playing was great. I made a warrior/monk and i liked it with knight's set of arms. The furnace part was chaotic (wut an add on... for those who played b4 that place came out (like me...lol) but its all good. Just make the run to draknor forge harder. I haven't been on for a while tho since i am playing other games but its all good :)

I thinking about buying a new graphics card and buying GW. Think it's a good idea? I'm not too sure... -_-

yea, i thought so too -_-

my dad bought wow for me last christmas, and after he gets it he finds out u have to pay 15 a month lol.....i knew, and thought he knew too, but guess he didnt. its still sitting on my desk all covered in dust mint condition.....i guess gw is better than wow for the no fee reason....also know of a lot of people who chose it over wow...ive only played it once, on my friends comp, and it was quite fun

i have guild wars, haven't played it in a while though. i do love my combination of a necro/mesmer though. it has me impressed by the graphics and story, and it didn't get boring as fast as city of heros/city of villians did. my only problem was only be able to have 8 powers up at once. but with only having 8 powers, you need to plan more for what quests your doing and such.

I actually prefer to have just 8 skills slot as compared to WOW where you have all your skills with you, more interesting that way

yah, thats the same thing as in city of heroes/villians, you get o have all your skills with you and you don't need to actually think about much, just run in and start beating stuff up. but in Guild Wars you actually have to plan out what skills would best suit your current quest.

Also in guild wars with 8 skill slots it makes it mroe difficult to play the quest then WOW which has the option of putting all your skills which makes it a "dont have to plan and think just play" sort of game which makes it less fun. The fun part of a game is beating monsters and other players with style and make friends and enjoy the game :) Remember the two new testing classes?? I don't like them much they suck!

Dont kill me for reviving an old thread. But this is a good game and the "fraction" of it just came into action and i wonder if anyone is playing it.

At first, it hooks me onto the game. But then I get bored of it and come back to it in a couple months because some people don't help out with your quest.

I never heard of the game, I am guessing it is a PC game ? if so, I cannot play it anyways since my pc sucks at games.

Its an PC game alright. RPG. and it isonline playing (so you need an internet connectino..doh :) ) and it is free. Its kind of like WoW just with out the monthly payment and less skill slots and quests. Still is ne one considerin playing the fraction or are playing it right now?

Factions. FACTIONS. F-A-C-T-I-O-N-S.

Say it with me.

I played it for a short while so I could play it with a specific friend. But he got FFXI so we play that now.

Considering it's free (and better than WoW) Guild Wars is really nice.

But Fractions sounds like a new math expansion. ; ;

New! Deal extra damage with these algabra equations!

Besides, I felt like being a wanker about it. ;[

I was N/ME. Got to 14 in less that 4 hours. XD

My friend was a Monk and had an invincible build. So I had SS and went for pure support as enfeeble and Summoning the dead.

I'd go N/Ri now that the expansion is out.
