I haven't been able to read that many things by him yet, but I love all the stories that I've read so far. It's hard to choose which one. XD

the beating heart was the most amazing story of his i read.
if you read poe, then have you read any of lovecraft's works? he drew a lot of inspiration from poe.

I don't know any by name. One time I was waiting for my music lesson to begin (I was early, and ontop of that I had to wait through both of the lessons for my brothers, so I had like 75 minutes to kill). My oldest brother was reading Poe for school, and was like 'read this, tell me what you think'.. So I read. I liked.
/me goes to find Poe stuff

Does anybody know a site where I can find Poe's poems? I don't like his stories (it's too easy to guess how it will end), but poems are just great!

my favorite poem of his is The Raven. but all the other ones are great too. he's my favorite poet. he has a different style to his poems compared to everyone else. also. the fall of the house of Usher is one of his good stories too.

well here i am back from the dead again..
funny you guys should talk about poe, i had to write a 4000-word paper on him less than 6 months ago (for IB extended essay) >_> and while i think the dude is a genius, that essay crapped me out completely, especially since i did it on the night and day it was due. poe definitely brings back bad memories (i did pass it though).
anyway, my top choices would be the tell-tale heart, the black cat & the cask of amontillado.. which are also the three i wrote about for my paper. x_x .. of his poems, aside from the raven, annabel lee would be my favourite no doubt.
