I found this, and though I would post it. might not be true, but it could be.

http://wii.ign.com/articles/725/725645p1.html

It would be cool if the price was set that low, then people would know not everything has to be set at a high price to play. but even if the price of $250 is right, that is still not bad. I am guessing the price for the Nintendo Wii was not set yet. But we will find out the price more close to the launch date, but lets just hope they don't raise the price to something like the PS3 or the Xbox 360. But knowing nintendo, they will choose a price everyone will be happy with, making it a cheap system for all.

What will make the Wii cheap is the fact that one way to look at it is as an overclocked Gamecube that can play DVDs (the console part).

Thus, take something around the price of a Gamecube currently, take a little off (as they will most likely sell it at a slight loss), and add about 100-150 for the new things it has.

i hope that is the price since after buying xbox 36 and other systems i already spend alot of money on those stuff. But if the release date is a while later than i dont care.

EA said that the price was 170 in Japan, or could be. So there is a possibility that the wii will sell for less in the US. Nintendo has a strong fan base in Japan so it is possible the wii will be more expensive over there since the sales are guaranteed. They may reduce the price for the US marked since some may still be skeptical about the wii

Even if the Wii might sell at a low price like $170, will the price of the games be higher?

Considering the graphical power of the wii, i doubt the game prices will be higher than the current gen. Also Nintendo said they may do "wii-make" of some cube games and those will sell much lower than $50

Wii games will be 50 bucks instead of the average 60 for an Xbox 360 game, and however much for a PS3 game (most likely more, as Blu-ray discs currently cost more to make than simple DVDs)

reckon games be like 80+ for ps3 which is like WTF pprices
since the blue ray discs are currently giving them a rough time of mayb bankruptcy

80+ for games that is craziness can't see myself paying that much for a PS3 game. I think it might be more around the price of a 360 game $55-65

hmm...thats weird i though xbox 360 prices would be higher cause new ps2 games used to be like 75 ea (kingdom hearts 2 the day it came out) but i sure hope there cheaper

Blu-ray is new technology..

If you go buy a Blu-ray version of a movie, it is a LOT more expensive than the DVD version - I'd expect games to be similar.

An interesting thing to say. "I got a Wii for $170". As if there weren't enough Wii jokes.

Psh, you need to get the Wii with the supercharger, $275 baby.

I can't wait for my own Wii, then the accidental blows to the head can begin.

I love blowing my Wii's load on someone's head.

The only thing i saw on Zelda is that the game is supposed to be huge. The wii version will allow Link's sword to follow the movements of the wii-mote and will be coming out Nov. 19. The Cube version will be out December 11, messed up. I think the wii version might be a bit of stress cause anyone who has played the 64 and cube Zelda games know that there are tons of enemies and they don't go down with 1 or 2 strikes. I am just imagining waving the wii-mote so many times can become tiring
