Is anyone here as obsessed as I am? I recently read the 5th book for a British Literature Essay and I was so infatuated with it. I then read.. the 5 other books in like a span of 2 weeks.. Yes Awesome Thanksgiving break. Ya.. I want the 7th book sooo bad!!!

Not a riot, the seventh book will cause Armageddon.

I seriously hope the 7th book is like 3000 pages or something because.. I don't want it to end! Ahh the madness.

But I can't wait until the final book comes out either, I have very high expectations for it to be the climactic conclusion to all the suspense and the tie that connects all the loose ends of the first 6 books.

When the book first came out (shortly before I bought it) I downloaded a PDF of the book.
I found Adobe Acrobat's "read aloud" function.
It pronounced 'Snape' as 'Snappay.' Laughter ensued.

i work at a bookstore, and at the last "midnight harry potter" event for book 6, it was pretty darn fun. the worse thing about it is that i remembered i hadn't bought my book AFTER i cashed down all the tills.
although they did let me borrow a copy through our book loan program. which means i didn't get sleep at all that night x_x
gotta look forward to the 7th though, especially if i still work at the bookstore during that time

I'm not one to go out right away and buy the book, then stay up all night reading it (though something along those lines may happen under the right circumstances, such as summer or winter break, etc). Generally I'll get the book relatively soon after it's been released, but it'll sit by my bed until I finish whatever book I'm already reading.

I think it's regulus as well since Rowling said there would be no new characters in the 7th book. Though I don't have a good idea where the locket is (I never did, and if I ever had a hunch, I forgot it because I read the 6th book almost a year ago and forgot it).

It's mentioned in book five that they find 'a heavy locket that no one could open' while cleaning the Black house. I picked up on that on my second reading of the book
