This... disgusts me.

Honestly though, the article is misleading. It makes you think that he socked her in the face because he was playing a killing game, but really that kind of violent frustration is usually because of examples set from (probably) his own father and just society in general. You can't blame this solely on games and say that if he wasn't playing xbox he wouldn't have killed her. Sure, under those precise circumstances nothing would've happened, but did the video game also teach him to ruthlessly throw his child on a chair and just leave, not even telling the wife what happened or calling the hospital?

Idiotic media, that's all I have to say.

It only enforces the ignorance of adults and makes their beliefs of video games being evil even worse.

It was an adult, though, I suppose.

But yeah, parents (in general) need to understand that this sort of behaviour is the exception, not the rule.

I'm quite sure Avarice wasn't speaking in reference to the article, but simply in regards to the general "omg dis is bad" attitude towards GTA, which is made by Rockstar.

Though Rockstar also made a nice, calm ping pong game.

society wants the blame to just go away, so if he can blame it on something else he would, video games for example is what parents say when their kid did something stupid, unless the kid is mentaly challegend he KNEW what he was doing! stupid media
